Dress Up Daydreams {Castle Rock Children's Photographer}

Every little girl daydreams about dressing up for a big formal event, putting on mommy's shoes and pearls and dancing the night away with her prince charming.  Let your little girl dress up in your favorite gown - your lush wedding gown, your 1994 Prom Dress, a ball gown from your college formal…all those dresses you'll never wear again, that she eyes every time she's in your closet.  Add shoes, pearls, or a veil and you have a portrait of a lifetime.

Crib Tales Photography is turning the studio into a dress up dream - bring along your own dress or accessories, or use some of my accessories.  Each little girl gets a personal 20 minute portrait session customized just for her!

Appointments are required, and limited.  To reserve your session or for questions contact Amy Stephens at:

Last But Definitely Not Least {Castle Rock Family Photographer}

This was my very last session of 2011 -  December 30 to be exact!  I'm about a month delayed in blogging about it but I've been excited about it since the session itself.  The O family was referred to me by another client of mine (I love love love referrals -thank you F family!).  We wanted to fit them in for family photos while the eldest daughter was home from college for the break.  We got lucky with a gorgeous day for shooting, and we met in one of my favorite locations for the capture - downtown Castle Rock.  This location sums up so much about my style of photography - a little bit vintage, a little bit urban, a dash of green, a smidgen of grunge, and a whole lotta family feel.  A perfect backdrop for the O family!

Cooper is one!  I could say so much about how fun this session was with this little fella, but how about I just show you the highlights instead?!  I think the picture speak for themselves!

Crib Tales Photography {Castle Rock Photographer}

Hiya!  Have you visited the Crib Tales Photography Website lately?  The website has all the pertinent information you might need regarding family or newborn portrait sessions!  I love using this blog to share recent sessions, announce promotions and contests, and maintain a great on-going, client communication. So sometimes the website gets lost in the shuffle...check it out, it is a great resource for finding out what to expect with your portrait session, investment information, a bit more about the Castle Rock studio that I use for newborn and first year sessions, and of course previews of some of my favorite portraits over the past few years.  And just a heads up,  I'm working on an update for the website and blog for 2012 and will announce that soon as well!

Cheers!

School Daze {Castle Rock Children's Photographer}

For the past three years I have had the honor of photographing the delightful kiddos at the Primrose School of Castle Rock.  I have seen them grow by leaps and bounds over the past few years and many have also become wonderful family clients of mine as well.  I recognize their children around town, at the pool, parks and grocery stores.  It gives me such joy to know these children and get to see them as they grow and change.  This year I had the privilege of adding another school - Castle Rock Adventure Club Preschool and Pre-K.  This one is especially dear to my heart because both of my boys have gone through their amazing program.  Their teachers and director mean the world to me as they have shaped the minds and morals of Jackson and Holden and hundreds of other children in our community.

One other addition to this past years' School Picture Day agenda was the Homeschool Group of Castle Rock.  My best friend homeschools her son and I do a picture day for him each year to commemorate the school year, so I knew there was a need for "picture day" within this community of children.  What a remarkable group of kiddos and parents! I'll stop yapping now and roll a few pictures from the 2011 School Picture Days in and around Castle Rock.  Cheers!
