One of my very first professional portraits, and still one of my very favorites of all time. It has come to represent crib tales photography, and the story I try to tell with each and every client. I often set this pose up for the families I shoot, it is a favorite of mine, and each time it tells a slightly different story. How a couple holds hands tells a lot about them. Do they intertwine their fingers? Do they grasp palm to palm? How their children react to being separated - even momentarily from their parents - tells a story. Each time the set up is similar, but the outcome is always completely different. It is what I love about my job. Each portrait session tells a different story. And each family has a story to tell. What will your story be?
