Miss Lucia - May 2009

A quick, impromptu shoot for our sweet visiting friends from Seattle. Lucia is such a beautiful, sweet baby girl. She opened her arms up to me the minute she saw me -- our first meeting at that! She was all smiles the entire evening, and I fell quickly, madly in love. Congrats again Heidi and Jon, she's a beauty; thank you for letting me capture her gorgeous smile and deep brown eyes!

Yes, first and foremost, I know I am very delinquent in my posting! On a personal note we have just recently moved (1 mile away to a new house!), so between that and my boys and soccer and Pre-Kindergarten and gymnastics, etc, I just have been behind in updates. I'm thrilled that Spring is finally upon us, and the weather is cooperating for some wonderful upcoming shoots. Thanks for bearing with me, and please come back soon for even more updates!

This past weekend I had the honor of photographing a beautiful family of five at the Denver Zoo. It was an ideal location for this gorgeous family, and a perfect place to shoot. I had so much fun with these three little munchkins, and I think they did as well. They were all so expressive, each showing their own unique personality. Thank you R family for allowing me to capture the wonderful, loving spirit of your family!

Charleigh Jo - February

So Charleigh actually turned one last month, and I snapped shots at her birthday party. But her mama wanted more pictures of her in all her sweetness, and naturally I was happy to oblige. This gorgeous girl, ah, I want to swim in her big brown eyes! And her brothers are pretty darn cute as well.

I got every emotion imaginable from this bribed sitting. It is definitely more difficult to get your own child to cooperate versus any other child on the planet. But he definitely earned his reward. He gave me exactly what I was hoping for -- him.

Gasp! How did I get so lucky to photograph this beautiful baby at just 2 weeks of age?! Not to mention her adorable brother and sweet mama. This was my favorite session to date (though, yes, I say that about each and every one...).
