N Family - June 2009

The N family was a delight to photograph. Having two (stinky) boys of my own, I jump at any chance I get to photograph sweet little girls. And these two little ones took the cake. Poor Daddy is so out-numbered (I know the feeling) -- even their pup is a girl! Thank you N family for a lovely time, and allowing me my "pink" fix for the afternoon!

I'm sort of in love with creating montages - can you tell?

3 Ring Circus

Here's the thing about throwing a birthday party for three kids at once -- you can't possibly be in all places at one time, capturing all the little moments on film. That's where having a friend who is a photographer comes in handy ;-)

Carissa asked me to capture a few key moments from her children's recent circus themed birthday party. Her kiddos are 1, 3, and 5 -- wowsas! And oh my, they are as cute as they come. It was such an awesome day (despite the wind trying to blow everything away). There was a fairy doing balloon creations, face painting, and every kind of yummy circus food you could imagine. Everyone had an awesome time!

Hiring a photographer to capture that precious birthday moment in time... priceless.

Ella - June 2009

Beautiful, sweet Ella. Ella just turned five. Ella just came back from a Disney cruise. Ella loves pink. Ella can't wait to start Kindergarten this fall. Ella has a laugh that makes you smile. Ella has the deepest, most sparkly eyes ever. Ella was a dream to photograph. Thank you, Ella, for such a wonderful, fun morning!

A beautiful family. A beautiful day. What more could you ask for?! It was such fun to capture this beautiful family, and I think you can easily tell why -- there's a whole lotta love go'n on there, and at the end of the day that's all you need for a gorgeous photo shoot! Miss Lucia - May 2009

A quick, impromptu shoot for our sweet visiting friends from Seattle. Lucia is such a beautiful, sweet baby girl. She opened her arms up to me the minute she saw me -- our first meeting at that! She was all smiles the entire evening, and I fell quickly, madly in love. Congrats again Heidi and Jon, she's a beauty; thank you for letting me capture her gorgeous smile and deep brown eyes!

R Family - May 2009

Yes, first and foremost, I know I am very delinquent in my posting! On a personal note we have just recently moved (1 mile away to a new house!), so between that and my boys and soccer and Pre-Kindergarten and gymnastics, etc, I just have been behind in updates. I'm thrilled that Spring is finally upon us, and the weather is cooperating for some wonderful upcoming shoots. Thanks for bearing with me, and please come back soon for even more updates!

This past weekend I had the honor of photographing a beautiful family of five at the Denver Zoo. It was an ideal location for this gorgeous family, and a perfect place to shoot. I had so much fun with these three little munchkins, and I think they did as well. They were all so expressive, each showing their own unique personality.
